Laser weapons are common and found across the Core. Lasers are known for providing moderate levels of damage and to generate a fair amount of heat but are free from ammunition requirements. Basic lasers are also easy to fire and adjust targeting mid-fire, resulting in a to-hit bonus. Laser variants are employed selectively by some houses. Examples include Blasters, which are employed by the Omnisphere Imperium.
